Products Packaging

As an established supplier of Nickel based alloys, ULTIMetals always focuses on its customers requirments and their needs for packaging. A wide variety of packaging is offered in the form of spools, coils, carriers etc. All products are packed suitably for transportation by road, air or sea. ULTIMetals experience in packaging in accordance with hte highest standards ensures delivery in perfect condition at its customers premises. Also special packaging and labelling according to individual requirements may be available upon request.

Wire Packing

For wire packing ULTIMetals offers Spool, Pail/Drum, Coil, and Carrier. Its main spool types are K 100, K 125, K160, K 200, K 250, and K 355. Its pail pack is according to DIN 46396. Coil packing inner diameter is 400-650 mm and the outer diameter is 600 – 1000 mm depending on the wire diameter. Two main types of available carriers have 360 mm and 480 mm inner diameter and 600 mm and 820 mm outer diameter and can carry maximum of 120 kg and 300 kg of wire respectively.

Strip & Bar Packing

Strips are delivered in coils with inner diameter of 300-400 mm and outer diamter of 380-630 mm. The maximum available weight is 65kg depending on the thickness and width of the strip. Bars are packed in bundles on pallets.

Welding Consumables Packing

Welding wire is packed on MIG/GMAW Spool, SAW Spool, and Coil. Three types of MIG/GMAW spools are offered, S200 and S300 which are made of plastic and BS300 which is made of steel wire. Two types of SAW spools are available, K300 and K415 which are made of steel. Coil weight is usually 20-80 kg. Coil weight can be increased up to 130 kg. Coil is tightened in several points in order to secure wire during the transportation. Coils are supplied on euro pallets. Welding rods are supplied in 915 – 1000 mm lengths in cardboard boxes. Electrode core wires are supplied in wooden boxes with 200 – 500 kg weight.
